Last week began our month of Mystery Readers! To celebrate March Is Reading Month, our classroom will have 2-4 mystery guests each week. These Mystery Readers will include moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, other teachers at Adams Elementary, and a few other special guests. The first graders love having Mystery Readers in our classroom! They do not know who the reader is until the reader enters our class. The reader spends about 15 minutes reading to our class and answering questions about reading. My hope is that this special Mystery Reader time provides another opportunity for kiddos to fall in love with and get excited about reading.
Last week Mr. Josephson and Mrs. Juros joined our classroom. Mr. Josephson read the book It's Not Easy Being A Bunny by Dr. Seuss and Mrs. Juros read the book The Jungle Run. Thank you for reading to our class, Mystery Readers. You helped make March Is Reading Month extra special for our class!
